Using the Method of Electrical Microscanning for Referencing a Full-Length Core

Abstract


In this article, we show the possibility of referencing a full-length core using the data of a high-resolution electrical microscanning method, which were obtained by the russian made instrument KarSar MC-110. Due to the combination of direct and indirect methods of well investigation, it is possible to determine an accurate orientation of the fractures, to tie the parameters related to the openness, length and filling of the fractures. The analysis of the results of the conducted studies is shown on the examples of the wells of the Perm region.
