Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Oil Deposit Exploitation Based on its Response to Dynamic Impact of Seismic Waves

Abstract


We have studied the feasibility of assessment the current state of the oil field under development using the response of the oil recovery to dynamic effect of seismic body waves from distant earthquakes. Preliminary results of comparison the seismic activity and oil production showed that oil field, as a single hydrodynamic system, might respond to the impact of seismic body waves from distant earthquakes.
