Alteration in Mechanical Properties of Clay Soils due to the Interaction with Petroleum Products

Abstract


The article presents the results of study of the mechanical properties of clay observed due to interaction with oil products. It had been established that the interaction of hydrocarbons with clay soils affects their mechanical properties, such as adhesion and the angle of internal friction.
