Natural Hydrogeological Model of the Grachevskiy and Vostochno-Kapitonovskiy Oil Fields: Impact on the Ecology of Water Conservation in the Western Part of the Orenburg Region

Abstract


The results of the study of the natural hydrogeological model on the example of the Grachevsky and Kapitonovsky oil fields with fresh and brackish waters are very relevant. Natural hydrogeological models of oil fields with hydrogeochemical characteristics of the Lower Triassic groundwater have been studied using the example of single water intake wells. Using the classifications, waters of the first, second and third types with bicarbonate-chloride-sulfate and calcium-magnesium-sodium mineralization of 0.2-1.214 g/dm3 were identified. Waters from intake wells of the terrigenous Lower Triassic aquifer complex have been studied. The waters have a low hardness from 1 to 8.1 mg-eq/l and are suitable for drinking. The type of water, according to O.A. Alekin, corresponds to soda-I, magnesia- IIa, chlormagnesium –IIIa. According to the results of the study, recommendations on the use of groundwater as mineral and fresh drinking water of good quality are presented.
