Hard-to-recover Oil Reserves: Development Techniques for Two Oil-bearing Reservours with Permeable Layer between them

A. V. Demidov

Abstract

Article describes the development techniques for oil fields with layered heterogeneity, where layer of low permeability is situated between two oil-bearing formations. Advantages and disadvantages of each technique are given in the article, as well as the results of reservoir simulation for comparison of effectiveness of described development methods.
